Grass Roots Press, located in Edmonton, has been dedicated to enhancing adult literacy since it was co-founded in 1997 by Pat Campbell. Frustrated by the lack of accessible reading materials, Pat, along with her team, began producing easy-to-read books for adults with limited literacy skills. The company has gained an international reputation for its high-quality materials focusing on adult basic education.
Over the years, Grass Roots Press has evolved by offering a variety of resources, including photostories, hi-lo biographies, and essential workbooks. With a strong commitment to supporting adult learners, the team continues to innovate and expand their offerings. Now, they primarily sell ebooks, PDFs, and audiobooks directly through their website and on Amazon, making their valuable resources easy to access for those seeking to improve their reading skills.
